Every result on Tank and Tail is an estimate for planning purposes. Real aquariums vary with plants, feeding, flow, livestock, water chemistry and building construction, and every dog is different in breed, age, health and metabolism. The figures you see will differ from real life, so always confirm important decisions with your own observation and testing.

Feeding your dog
The dog food, raw feeding, puppy weight and dog age tools give general estimates from established formulas. They are a starting point, not a diet plan. Adjust feeding by watching your dog body condition, and involve your vet for puppies, seniors, pregnant or nursing dogs, and any dog with a health condition. Large and giant breed puppies in particular need controlled growth under veterinary guidance.
Livestock welfare
Aquarium stocking and compatibility guidance covers waste load and rough space only. It does not account for temperament, territory, schooling needs or local rules on keeping certain species. Research each animal before you buy, and add livestock gradually.
Structural safety
The tank weight calculator gives a rough loaded weight and a pounds per square foot figure. It does not replace professional advice on floor loading. Older buildings, upstairs rooms and long unsupported spans deserve extra caution.
